DIY programming your own NFC

Programming your own NFC items is easy!

Minimum device requirements:

• iPhone XS/later with iOS 13+
• Most modern Android - Ensure NFC is enabled in Settings

There are 7 easy steps:

1. Download NFC Tools
2. Once downloaded launch the app and arrive at the home screen
3. Select "Write" then "Add a record"
4. From the list shown, select the behavior you want your NFC enabled item to perform
5. Once a behavior is selected, additional data will be requested. Fill in the required info in each field then select the ARROW in the upper right hand corner
6. Select "Write/___ Bytes" then hold the NFC enabled item where your manufacturer recommends (Refer to our article: Where should you tap to activate NFC? for more help)
7. Hold until the process is complete

Close NFC tools and test the item to see if it works and enjoy!
